Every call your AI receptionist handles will automatically create a new row in your Notion database β caller name, phone, intent, and notes, all logged without lifting a finger.
Go to notion.so/my-integrations and sign in with your workspace account. Click "New integration", give it a name such as "MELLI AI", select your workspace, and click Submit. Copy the Internal Integration Token shown on the next screen β you will need it in Step 5.
Keep this token private. It grants write access to any database you share with the integration.
Open Notion and create a new page. Type /table and select "Table - Full page" to insert a database. Add the following columns to your table:
| Column name | Column type |
|---|---|
| Name | Title (already exists by default) |
| Phone | Phone number |
| Intent | Text |
| Notes | Text |
| Date | Created time |
Open the database page you just created. Click the "..." (More options) button in the top-right corner of the page. Select "Connections", then click "Add connections". Search for the integration name you created in Step 1 and select it.
The integration can only see databases you explicitly share with it. Nothing else in your workspace is accessible.
Open the database in your browser. Look at the URL in the address bar. It will follow this pattern:
The DATABASE-ID is the 32-character string between the last "/" and the "?v=" part. Copy only that portion.
In MELLI, navigate to Dashboard β Create Assistant β Integrations β Notion. Paste your Internal Integration Token and your Database ID into the corresponding fields, then save. MELLI encrypts your token with AES-256 before storing it β it is never logged or exposed.
Set up your AI receptionist and link your Notion workspace in minutes.
